Khiry Tafari aka Frank Talk was born into the culture of Hip Hop and quickly fell in love with Hip Hop's youngest child, the baby of the family: rap music.  From the young age of 8, Khiry started writing songs either rhyming or singing for himself and performing at schools and community centres.  As a teen he carved his craft by performing house parties and opening shows for groups such as Pharcyde, Rascals, Maestro and participated in a lot of street battles. 1999 Khiry traveled out to Montreal for exprience where there he entered and won his biggest battle.  Coming back to Edmonton in 2000 Khiry got back into the E-town scene and in 2002 Khiry Tafari become a member of Intricate Minds.  At the time this crew was a basement group and with Khiry they became noticed and were doing shows everywhere in E-town and getting the name Intricate Minds known throughout the city.  With this group Khiry traveled western Cananda and open for alot of Canada's best.  The highlght came in 2004 when Intricate Minds entered NAIT'S battle of the bands and became the 1st rap band to win and perform at Ookfest along side the likes of Finger Eleven, Social Code and Swollen Members.  2005 was filled with a lot shows and travelling for Intricate Minds and they put out their 1st ep called "Confiscated Thoughts" which was recieved with high praise in lyrical content, production and display of skills between the MC's, with Khiry leading the charge.  Now striking out on his own, Khiry has gone back to step forward with new solo material to unleash on the people!
